From I-81 South in Abingdon:

Take exit 17 in Abingdon.  Take a right off of the exit and follow Cummings Street until it dead-ends on Valley Street.  Take a left onto Valley Street then go right onto Russell Street (Russell Street dead-ends at Rt. 19 after about one mile).  Take a right onto Rt. 19 and go about 13 miles to Rt. 58 West (Rt. 58 West will be a left turn).  Follow Rt. 58 to Norton, Virginia.  As you enter Norton on Rt. 58 West, you will see Hardee's on your left.  Take the exit to Wise (Rt. 23 North).  As you enter the Wise area, go to the 2nd traffic light on Rt. 23 North and take a right onto Norton Road/US 23 Business Route.  There will be a McDonald's at this intersection.  Follow Norton Road into Wise (about one mile) and you will arrive at a traffic light (Norton Road dead-ends here).  Turn right onto Main Street (Main Street quickly becomes Park Avenue but there are no obvious turns where the 2 streets merge).  Remain on Main Street/Park Avenue as it winds around to the next traffic light (about one mile).  You will see a gas station named Bee Line Market ahead on your right at this intersection.  Do not turn here, continue straight on through the traffic light; you are now on Hurricane Road.  Follow Hurrican Road for exactly 2 miles and turn right onto Fairground Road.  The Wise County Fairgrounds will be on your left as soon as your turn onto Fairground Road.

There will be "RAM" signs posted throughout the route in Wise so just follow the signs.

From Tennessee:  Take I-81 North from Knoxville to Rt. 23 N at Kingsport

Follow Rt. 23 North from Kingsport, TN into Weber City, Virginia.  Stay on Rt. 23 North for about 50 miles (you will pass through the towns of Gate City, Duffield, Big Stone Gap, and Norton).  As you enter the Wise area, go to the 2nd traffic light on Rt. 23 North and take a right onto Norton Road/US 23 Business Route.  There will be a McDonald's at this intersection.  Follow Norton Road into Wise (about one mile) and you will arrive at a traffic light (Norton Road dead-ends here).  Turn right onto Main Street (Main Street quickly becomes Park Avenue but there are no obvious turns where the 2 streets merge).  Remain on Main Street/Park Avenue as it winds around to the next traffic light (about one mile).  You will see a gas station named Bee Line Market ahead on your right at this intersection.  Do not turn here, continue straight on through the traffic light; you are now on Hurricane Road.  Follow Hurricane Road for exactly 2 miles and turn right onto Fairground Road.  The Wise County Fairgrounds will be on your left as soon as you turn onto Fairground Road.
